VP of Market Development (East)

Olio is joining population health leaders and post-acute providers together to form one truly connected team. We’re growing fast and looking to add a VP of Market Development to our team.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of value-based healthcare business development, sales leadership, and SaaS experience
  • Motivated by early-stage growth environment and ability to scale mission-driven products
  • Experience closing contracts and managing ongoing relationships with health system or health plan clients
  • Demonstrated ability to sell into complex organizational structures and successful implementation of go-to-market plans
  • Experience managing a sales team
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships and credibility across all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor messaging across audiences
  • Relentless focus on execution that goes beyond analysis and strategy
  • Self-starter who is able to own complex projects with minimal or maximal input
  • Willingness to really roll up your sleeves in a startup environment - no job is too small
  • Intense curiosity and drive to make things better

 

Job Requirements

  • Collaboratively develop and play a role in the execution of go-to-market strategies
  • Engage strategically with external payers and providers to validate customer needs and move relevant opportunities through commercial engagement stages, including lead generation, contracting, pilot, and retention
  • Manage success of new and existing partnerships to drive high rates of customer retention
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and collaboration
  • Manage a team of salespeople covering various territories to achieve or surpass quotas
  • Build and cultivate strategic external relationships across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including C-suite, within payer and provider systems
  • Understand market trends to position opportunities, help grow the pipeline, and develop new partnerships
  • Manage effective communication of product value propositions, features and partnership expectations with potential clients
  • Provide regular communications to senior management on business development strategy and results
