In the News: Inside Indiana Business - Seed Funding

Ben Forrest, CEO of Olio Health, appeared on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick in October of last year to talk about Olio and its platform. Since then, Olio has completed a $2.5 million round of seed funding and has launched its platform on a national level. Alex Brown, a multimedia journalist for the news outlet, covers the closing of Olio’s funding round in the article as well as plans for what the company hopes to achieve with its seed funding.

Olio raised a substantial amount of funding, which is largely attributed to working with strategic seed investors who "explicitly understand the complexity of the healthcare environment, the challenges ahead within the industry, and the challenge that Olio addresses."

Olio launched its platform in January and is on track to add approximately 80 jobs in central Indiana by 2022 with the help of the $2.5 million the company has raised. Forrest also shares that the funding will further advance Olio’s technology and increase its capability of “enabling health systems and physicians to provide the highest quality of care as patients transition to care facilities outside of the hospital’s walls.”
